CASIB Regional Stakeholder Conference 2022: Green Innovations for Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation in Central Asia,
The conference is organized by CASIB (Central Asia Sustainable Innovation Bureau), which is supported by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), in cooperation with the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Delegation of German Economy for Central Asia (AHK). The event provides intensive insight into the German-Central Asian project activities in the field of renewable energy, water and soil management as well as to get in touch with the project actors and political decision-makers. Within the event, IAMO project KlimALEZ will feature a half-day workshop on climate risk management.

Stakeholder Workshop on Innovative Index Insurance in Central Asia
On November 18, KlimALEZ team will organize an online dissemination workshop presenting project finding for stakeholder from business, politics and research. In addition to presentations for project members on novel data tools and applications, the event will feature a panel discussion including business representative from the project region sharing their experience with pilot implementation in their countries. Online training course on scientific writing and publishing in peer-reviewed journals
In the framework of the SUSADICA doctoral programme, IAMO and Giessen University are organizing a training course on Scientific writing and publishing in peer-reviewed journals. The course objective is to train PhD students and provide them with practical tips in developing scientific papers for publishing in peer-reviewed journals. Over the 6 sessions (3 hours each) the participants will learn and practice their skills in developing a convincing story, organizing a writing process and structuring a publishable manuscript. Not least, the participants will be guided through the rules of good scientific practice.
